  2. Following the email from Ginger Durham last night, VSU is preparing to send the recommended letter to three SREB states where we have students receiving DE instruction, Alabama, Texas, and Florida. I'm posting contact info I have on those states under the topics below.

The other SREB states where we have students have all published "No Authorization Required" statements on their websites. We are documenting those statements as proof to the DOE that we are in compliance in those states.

  3. Jon - We have already sent letters to all SREB states except for Alabama and Arkansas. I sent the recommended letter to Alabama last week, but have not heard back. As for the other SREB states, we went ahead and sought formal exemption. However, there are some states in which physical triggers apply. For instance, in some states, you will not be exempt if you have an instructor teaching online from that state or do any direct marketing. Thus, in some states, like Tennessee, this limits us. Now, I may go back and send the SREB letters to the states where we received exemption IF the SREB scenario provides for full approval in a manner that the physical triggers would not apply.
